FIELD NOTES: When Diane Bush decided to use the 2016 presidential campaign to be a prompt for artists to comment on the folly of politician image-making, who could imagine this gold mine of material? Now it has gone beyond any nightmare a satirist could have written. But Bush and her invited artists carry on. They shall rise to the challenge of matching absurdity with absurdity.
“Let America Break Again” is October 7 and may be an exercise in venting. "The Final Tally" will be at Art Square on election night and will highlight selections from previous exhibitions as projections on corridor walls. New work goes in the gallery, says dedicated curator Bush, who adds: "And there will be taco trucks."
