JUST ANNOUNCED: The February 12 screening of "Levitated Mass" by the Barrick Museum and Contemporary Arts Center, Las Vegas has another guest: Erin Wright, Associate Producer for the documentary directed by Doug Pray. Wright will join Danielle Kelly for a Q & A after the 2013 rock doc is screened. Via Melissa Peterson:
Erin Wright is Director of Artist Initiatives at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). Her twenty years of experience in the art world has ranged from Sotheby’s auction house to grantmaking for Lannan Foundation to writing and research as an editor for the Edward Ruscha Catalogue Raisonné of Paintings to organizing exhibitions and project management for Gagosian Gallery.
The documentary about land artist Michael Heizer’s 340-ton solid granite boulder shipped by trailer from outside Riverside to LACMA will start at 6 p.m. in the Barrick Auditorium. Details
