Undisclosed guerilla artist in a hood worked the 18b on January 2.
Though I was seemingly sequestered on the campus of UNLV from August to December, I still managed to saunter into the field. Over the last half of 2015, I watched the elegant chaos of the old Mission Building wall stencils, wheat-pastes and painting –that showed how street art was a different discipline from graffiti–be covered by aesthetic anarchy. Justin Lepper gathered local artists to sort out space and find some cohesion (and maybe reaching for a 5 Pointz vibe). But its been noted the sloppy work by others is taking over the walls of the 18b.
