Bordalo Segundo in Lisbon. With "Noah Purifoy: Junk Dada" at LACMA revisiting assemblage first seen in the Mojave Desert, and local artists DK Sole and Kim Johnson using found objects and scrap for sculpture at two different shows at Winchester Cultural Center Gallery, muralist Bordalo II may be creating real site specific work that reflects the desert region. The Portuguese Bordalo Segundo uses trash, discards and color to shape 3D large-scale sculptures of animals. Other street artists announced by LiB organizers on Tuesday were Ruben Sanchez, Bikismo, Pixel Pancho, Filthy Luker & Pedro Estrellas, Sbagliato MTO, and the Fat Jew.
