Las Vegas Harley Davidson sign with guests on January 1, 2015. The dealership held their grand opening in November 2014.
Across the street from the median strip with the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign and packed parking lot is a rugged alternative for a photo op. It’s the signage for Las Vegas Harley-Davidson, a raw anti-glitz san-serif made of concrete, but still related to the style and form of architectural communication designed to be read by car (or hog). By sitting next to the sidewalk it integrates directly with public space and visitors have been stopping take a ride on letters.
